AI just be stealing shit and lying about shit

It is so hilariously bad it is almost comical how much money is being spent on it

Let me start this off with a quick preface, yes blog.sus.fr is back after my internet got cut off. Hoorah !

I found out some days ago that ChatGPT had racked up three four of my sites as a part of its learning content, happily stolen because it just happened to be online. Tonight I decided to test out what it learned, and what it learned was total fucking bullshit of the highest order.

AI just making shit up

This is of course just made up nonsense, it used my data and didn’t even learn my name in the process or that angsty teen crush I had. I then asked it to tell me about the site I’ve been publishing on since 1997.

tell me about mmn.on.ca

It appears that mmn.on.ca is a website for a Canadian company called McMaster Museum of Art. The McMaster Museum of Art is located in Hamilton, Ontario and is part of McMaster University. The museum’s website at mmn.on.ca provides information about its exhibitions, collections, events, and educational programs.

According to the website, the McMaster Museum of Art houses over 7,000 works of art, including paintings, sculptures, prints, photographs, and installations, that span a range of historical periods and artistic styles. The museum is also home to the Herman H. Levy Collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art, which includes works by artists such as Edgar Degas, Claude Monet, and Vincent van Gogh.

The website provides information about the museum’s hours of operation, admission fees, and upcoming events, as well as resources for educators and researchers. It also includes a section where visitors can donate to support the museum’s programs and acquisitions.

Again, totally made up.

It really amazes me that the tech bros are throwing so much money at this shit and sending it off in to the real world. As if they didn’t learn from Microsoft’s bot that went full nazi in a couple hours.
